Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Inspections
Poor maintenance and incorrect servicing are the most common causes of septic tank system failures. Often times we take things we don’t see for granted, and when it comes to home maintenance this is more true than ever. Septic tanks often get forgotten about, but forgetting about them can lead to an unexpected and expensive problem to fix.
Proper maintenance of your septic system will give you peace of mind and help to ensure you avoid those costly problems and system failures. The cost to maintain your septic system is minimal compared to what it may cost to in order to get a new system. On top of saving you money in the long run, having your septic system serviced regularly will help you avoid any potential health hazards or fines that can be associated with a failing septic system.
By signing up for our maintenance program we will do a routine check-up of your system once a year and pump the system clean as needed. We also have other options aside from our full maintenance plan where we can call or send you a reminder every 2-3 years to remind you when your tank needs servicing. We have a full fleet of trucks equipped with professionally trained technicians to ensure that your septic maintenance job is done right.
If a septic tank is not serviced or maintained properly, solids can build up within your tank, which can lead to clogging the pores of the cesspool walls. This clogging will prevent
liquids from escaping the tank and going into the surrounding soil as it is meant to. The presence of household items such as such as toilet cleaners, bleach, and anti-bacterial soaps
will also turn into solids and can lead to the clogging of the cesspool walls and lead to overflow.
You should have solid buildup pumped from your cesspool every 3 years to ensure that solid matter does not get into the overflow cesspool and cause failure.
Holding tanks are usually found where suitable soil for drainage is not present. Holding tanks need to be pumped out regularly, but how often really depends on the amount of water your home or business uses. An average household of 2-4 people requires a pump out anywhere from every 2-5 months.
We provide organic waste disposal, waste management, and waste collection for the food processing industry. We have a fleet of vacuum trucks ranging anywhere from 3,600 to 6,000 gallons,
equipped with professionally trained technicians with a track record of providing major food manufacturers with waste removal and disposal. We have a professional, reliable staff and we handle
all collections and removal in-house, we do not outsource our work. You can feel confident that we can safely and reliably service all of your food processing waste disposal needs.
Food processing waste removal must adhere to a set of guidelines and standards set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Here at Beaver Valley Septic Services we haul material from food processing facilities who have been approved by the DEP to dispose of dissolved air flotation(DAF) waste as an agricultural fertilizer.
